Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reciprocity Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "ParkStamp") collects, uses, and protects personal information through the ParkStamp mobile app (the "App") and the website at parkstamp.com (the "Site"). By using the App or the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Our approach is simple: we collect only what we need to run ParkStamp, we keep it secure, and we never sell it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create a ParkStamp account, we collect your email address so we can sign you in (we use a passwordless "magic link" sent to your email). You may optionally add a display name. We do not require or store a password.

Your collection activity

As you use the App, we store the data that makes up your stamp book: which parks you have stamped or collected, visit dates you record, and any premium stamp designs you purchase. This is the core of the product and is tied to your account.

Photos and photo metadata

The App can, with your permission, access your device photo library so you can add photos to your park visits and so we can suggest parks you have already been to. When you add a photo, the photo is uploaded to our secure storage and associated with your account. We also read and store limited metadata from those photos — the date the photo was taken and its location (latitude and longitude) where available — to match the photo to the correct park and visit. We do not scan or upload photos you do not select. Whether a photo stays private to you or is shared publicly is explained in "Community Features and Public Photos" below.

Location

With your permission, the App uses your device's location while you are using it to confirm you are at or near a park when you check in. We use location only in the foreground (while the App is open) for this purpose. We do not track your location in the background.

Purchases

ParkStamp offers optional in-app purchases (individual stamp designs and bundles). Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through our purchase provider, RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of what you purchased and your subscription/entitlement status, but we never receive or store your full payment card number — that is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and their payment processors.

Website email signup

If you sign up on parkstamp.com to be notified about the launch, we collect your email address for that purpose only.

Technical and log data

Our servers and hosting providers automatically log limited technical information — such as IP address, device or browser type, and the date and time of requests — to keep ParkStamp secure, reliable, and performant.

2. Community Features and Public Photos

ParkStamp includes optional community features. A shared Activity feed shows stamps and badges other members earn, and a community Gallery shows photos that members have chosen to share publicly. This section explains how your information appears to other members.

Public photos

When you add a photo to a park album, that photo is set to public by default and can appear in the community Gallery, where other ParkStamp members can see it. Every photo has an always-visible privacy control (a lock) that lets you keep a photo private, and you can switch any photo between public and private at any time. Photos you keep private are visible only to you.

Only photos you actively add to an album can become public. Photos brought in automatically — for example, through the photo scan that suggests parks you have already visited, or a bulk import — are never made public automatically. The first time one of your photos is about to become public, we show you a notice explaining what that means before it is shared.

This change applies to new photos only. Any photo you saved before this feature stays private unless you choose to make it public. We do not retroactively make older photos public.

How your name appears to others

When your activity or a public photo is shown to other members, we display your first name and last initial only (for example, "Marta H."). We do not show your full last name or your email address to other members.

Location safety for public photos

Although we store the date and location of your photos to match them to the right park, we do not reveal the precise location (latitude and longitude) or the exact time a public photo was taken to other members. Location and time information embedded in the image file itself is removed when the photo is uploaded.

Reporting and moderation

Because the Gallery contains content shared by members, we provide tools to report or flag a photo and to block another member. A reported photo is hidden from the Gallery pending review, and we remove content that violates our Terms of Service. You can report a photo from the Gallery or contact us at the email address below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and ParkStamp does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

4. Permissions You Control

The App asks for two device permissions, and only when you use the feature that needs them:

You can grant or revoke either permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of ParkStamp continues to work without them. Sharing a photo publicly is always your choice, controlled by the per-photo lock described in Section 2.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your account data, collection activity, and photos are stored using Supabase, our backend and storage provider, on infrastructure located in the United States. Photos you keep private are served only through temporary, expiring links tied to your account. Photos you choose to make public are visible to other members through the community Gallery, as described in Section 2. Data is encrypted in transit, and we apply access controls so that your private data is accessible only to you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard measures to protect your information.

6. Third-Party Services

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate ParkStamp:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App, or by emailing us at the address below. When you delete your account, we remove your stamp book, visits, and photos — including any photos you shared publicly — from our active systems. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To submit a request, contact us at the email address below.

10. Children's Privacy

ParkStamp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users

ParkStamp is operated from the United States and our data is stored in the United States. If you use ParkStamp from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of ParkStamp after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
